Bush SCOLDED and SCREAMED |
|
I've talked to three different people now, who've all asked me, "why was he YELLING the whole time?"
Indeed, when he wasn't yelling, he was speaking down to the audience, and to America, like a child being scolded.
An unbelievable performance by a commander and chief.
I cannot BELIEVE the pundits aren't picking up on this.
He was simply out of control tonight.
There was no excuse for it.

2. Yup, He Was Belligerent and Defensive and Innapropriately Aggressive |
|
He cut off the moderator numerous times and HE just got up and decided he had 30 more seconds. He was disrespectful and angry...It was very, very innapropriate behavior for a president...

I didn't find his demeanor very Presidiential. He was hostile and defensive.
But wait..... Howard Dean had an anger problem didn't he?

5. 90 year old Nana, Soccer mom sister and assorted |
|
other barely political types who are old line Republicans and uneasy with the religious overtones watched with me at the sister's house.
W is for Women? Not tonight. I have no tolerance for him but the four women there besides me were very uneasy by what my sister called "his screaming at us"---Nana as I said elsewhere, called him "a little banty rooster" 30 minutes into it. By 1 hour+ she was "exhausted" by him...."yell, yell, yell"
That scolding tone with the last woman questioner "you are really asking about Iraq" (or something like that) disgusted everyone there---including my libertarian/repuke brother in law. "Yeah, badger the voter" my b-in-law said.
I found it exhausting and disturbing. It was like we were bad children and dad was sending a shit-blizzard down the dining room table and everyone was about to be grounded.
