2. He sounded like a petulant three-year old |
|
his little tantrum alone should have been enough to make Charles Gibson send him to the corner for the rest of the debate. What is he so angry about? I personally think he needs some therapy.

3. His little attempt at humor isn't always funny |

That one dropped like a lead weight. Everyone still remembers his 5 buddies selecting him for president.

6. Jerry Falwell's name wouldn't go over well... |

with the majority of Americans. I'll say right now that "Ted Olson" I believe would be his nominee and we KNOW how conservative *HIS* views are. VERY radical right.

7. That one was a mind blower |
|
He said he didn't want to offend any judges because he wanted them to vote for him.. Shades of 2000 where the Supreme court in a very controversial decision voted for Bush* to become pResident. The unmitigated Gall of that man. It was like he was rubbing it in our face.

8. I thought the "vote for me" line was the most underrated "true" line out |

of his lyin' mouth for the evening ... AND, he thought it would be FUNNY ... yea, right ... we need to play it up some more, imho

12. "We need to play it up some more"... |
|
...couldn't agree more. This was a very telling little aside, an attempt at humor that could and should backfire if our side is smart about it. There has to be a way... perhaps juxtaposing headlines from the 2000 election about the Supreme Court's 5-4 decision making Bush president, with Bush's facetious remarks at the debate, then a voice over asking the President what he meant by his remarks?

9. I have hearing little quips here and there about Nov 2 not being |
|
the day that we know who our next president is. I've heard on the cable networks the pundits explaining that both candidates have their gaggle of lawyers working overtime. Is this what * was talking about when he said that he wanted them to "vote" for him?

10. Because Ken Starr made a deal with Poppy during the 1992 campaign |
|
Basically it was "you dig up dirt on Bill Clinton, and I'll appoint you to be the next Supreme Court justice".
Now as we all know, Poppy and Kenny failed to bring the Big Dog down in that campaign, but Kenny did his damndest a few years later. And for his "services rendered" - which arguably had some effect on Gore's numbers in 2000 - Kenny probably expects the BCE to hold up their end of the bargain, if Junior gets to nominate anyone to the SCOTUS.
God help us all if that happens :scared:

11. I'm glad Kerry pointed out what a big issue this is. |
|
He told people exactly why the SC appointments in the next term are crucial to maintaining or losing rights they may now be taking for granted.
