Another excellent Kerry tactic
early in the debate he kept facing Bush, gesturing at him, forcing the audience to focus completely on Bush's reaction to everything he was saying.

Masterful.

The audience risers wrapped around the stage, he could have been looking past the monkey to the crowd.

2. No, he was confronting * for the rest of us.
And it was a swell tactic. Kerry has always been able to hold his own under pressure. Wish I could be like that.
