Just got done delayed 1 hour via TiVo. Pre spin analysis

Haven't even read any threads, must less cable news. A real just-watched-the-debate virgin (cspan).

Bush did marginally better than last time. Kerry was even better than before.

Bush needed to hit a home run tonight to recover and didn't come close. Was better, but still appeared petulant. Kerry had a thoughtful answer for everything, bush didn't stumble nearly as much as on Thursday, but still did nothing but attack Kerry and other in response to his own failures.

After the last debate, I gave it to Kerry, but not by much (and expected a media spin of a bush win or a bush leaning tie at best). I feel MUCH better about this debate. Bush didn't look as much of an ass, but asside from a few momentary struggles in getting it out of his mouth, Kerry was better than last Thursday.
