It wasn't a draw.....Kerry won. |
|
Bush preached to the crowd in a whiny, loud, and self-righteous voice that would have turned off many Americans. It was obvious he was consciously trying to avoid making any faces. He succeeded in that, as far as I can tell. However, there were a couple of times when Kerry jabbed him real good that he looked like Alfred E Neuman. He also misspoke a couple of times with the "Kennedy" remark and the use of the word "facile". He never answered the question about "three mistakes". I cannot find the same type of deficiencies in Kerry's responses.
However, the Bush supporters must feel relieved that he did not fall on his face and therefore exceeded expectations. They can explain away his simplistic remarks as him being a "plain-spoken" man. However, that is just lipstick and rouge on a Yorkshire.

5. It's sinking in now...Kerry took it. |
|
Bush* clearly chooses to attack Kerry's record over facing his own record in office and it's really become glaringly transparent.

6. sometimes i think i'm crazy when people say that the B/K debates are... |
|
a draw. Bush looked and acted like a total looney. He didn't answer some questions, he BSed through some, he yelled at the audience and moderator.
Are people losing their fucking minds with this 'draw' shit?

YEs bush DID improve from his performance in the last debate, but even at THAT, he didn't come close to beating Kerry.

13. Bush is just lucky Kerry did not ask him about his record of Protecting |
|
America during the first 8 months of 2001...which would show a complete lack of upgrading our airports/harbors/etc as recommended by the Hart/Rudman Commission.
Bush got 3000 Americans Killed by malfeasance/deriliction of DUTY..
