...I think he addressed it to the questioner. Keep in mind, unlike Kerry, Bush was unable to remember the names of any of the people in the town hall.

Kerry, by contrast, made a point of noting and using each person's name. A small courtesy but, I think, an important one. And very telling when your opponent is a rude boor who shouts down the freakin' moderator.
