I mean....my wife afterward said she hoped he meant...

I don't want to say who I'd nominate, because I want all the judges out there to vote for me in this election on November 2nd.

Instead of...

I want those that I put in the supreme court, to use their votes to illegally keep me in power.

Don't have a transcript, but it sounded like this:

"Ah'll only appoint reconstructionist judges" or what-not otherwise they'll be mad. And ah want 'um to vote for me."

The dumb ass was talking about the Supreme Court.

I was hoping Kerry would jump up and say, "Gee. Last time it was 5-4. I'm hoping the American people get to decide the next President. That's what those who believe in the Constitution call 'electing their representatives.'"
