Kerry missed a slam dunk in at the end.
*, as expected could not and would not admit to having made any mistakes. Kerry's response was a rehash of earlier talking points and gave * the opportunity to bring up the $87 billion again.

Here's what he should have said, (something along these lines)

His administration has made mistake after mistake in waging the war on terror and the problem with * is that he never holds anyone accountable including himself. It's always someone else's fault or it's something they claim they could never have expected. Because of this he can never admit to making any mistake and as long as he can't accept that he's made a mistake he will keep making mistakes.

It could have been devastating.

1. I think Kerry is holding off until the last debate....

....then he's going to devistate Bush. If he does it too early, Bush will have more time to recover.

4. I think you can't hold off in these debates.
You have to take your chances to hit hard when you can and that was the perfect opening.

2. I agree 100%. Kerry needs to address bush's character issues

"This man is incapable of admitting he made a mistake, despite numerous instances of what have to be charitably called mistakes if they are not to be regarded as outright lies."

Character. Accountability. Honesty. bush is vulnerable, but Kerry must attack.

3. WHY won't Kerry just point out the simple FACT that BUSH
threatened to VETO EVERY SINGLE PENNY to support for our troops if he didn't get EXACTLY what he wanted.

He could also point out the fact that the AMERICAN PUBLIC and the MAJORITY OF REPUBLICANS in Congress OPPOSED bush's bill and the Republicans ONLY voted FOR it when BUSH threatened to VETO IT ALL.

HELLO MEMORY HOLE!!!

It was ok
It was good because this time Kerry answered the eight seven bilion answer clearly

What bush said that should cause him to lose was that a mother should die rather then have a partial birth abortion
