20. That's not very nice! |
|
The Spazmatics are nice young men and it is vicious to do such heinous things as deface their picture that way.
The calico cats at Ashcroft's feet are a nice touch, though.

6. Freaking upbelievable. Chimp unhinged. I didn't realize until i watched |
|
it again that not only did he demand to follow-up but he totally turned his back on the moderator and took the time whether it was granted or not.
This clip is prime evidence of who it is we're dealing with here. It needs broad circulation.
Would love to see Kerry or the DNC slide it into an ad.

I didn't realize how crazy it looks till I watched it again myself. Truly excellent.
He strutted around with his hand extended like some kind of oddball little Napoleon.

Thanks for providing the link so i could study the incident again.
It was not only noteworthy for the disruptive display of temper by His Chimperial Majesty, but by the elegant and effective way that Kerry handled the incident.
My respect for Kerry increases . There's a lot to this man, and, by golly, he's going to make a great President.
Bush is a poker player. He is a master of the bluff. He's been winning for years, even though he holds an empty hand, because he is a master of the bluff.
It's worked for him up to now.
But now, he's playing poker, and Kerry is playing master's level chess. Bush is totally outgunned. He cannot compete at this level. Not even Mr Rove and the flying monkeys can save him now.
Kerry is not aiming over people's heads. He's aiming right at their hearts, and their heads, and he's winning them over with his comprehension of issues and grasp of reality. He's winning this thing, by golly. God bless him -- he's done us proud. He has been a hell of an adversary, and I am grateful to him as long as I live.

I couldn't get back to sleep thinking that Bush lost it and nobody mentioned it even on PBS! I tossed in bed thinking about putting up the audio, but you put up the video. Thanks! We can't let that one get away. It's got to pop up everywhere. "BUSH LOST IT! BUSH LOST IT! BUSH LOST IT!" David Brooks thought W won the debate. Well, I guess I know who he's voting for.
It was obvious that he had a communications expert coach him on how to make a bad presentation LOOK better.

I can't believe they didn't cover it, this is SUPPOSED to be a man who is the leader of the free world and he gets set off when someone challenged what he says in something as simple as a debate!!! This is something that MUST be pushed down the media's throat!!!

14. Talking point: Does America want a president who's emotionally volatile... |
|
and perhaps unstable?
This incident occurred in the saftey of a debate setting -- so how is this president coping with the real-world, sustained pressures of handling America's security and economy, and waging a war in the Middle East?
Does America really want a president who cannot control his own emotions?
This point should be hammered again and again.

TONY BLAIR? Poor tony, His feelings will get hurt.
Does shrub actually think about what he said? The personal feelings of a pol in Britain matter more than killing our own boys and girls for a lie?

should've gotten right in Bush's face and said, Well Mr. President, this rude behavior is a clear violation of the rules your team insisted on. If you are going to make up the rules as you go along, the same as you made up the excuses to go to war, as you went along,,,Bring it on - no rules from here on in this debate, gloves off, it's your choice, your call - what are you going to do...decide now!
I believe we would have once again had to endure that now famous deer in the headlights look....* would have wilted.

If Kerry did that it probably would have come across as mean-spirited and below the belt. If he was going to apologize for what Bush did, he should have done it in a more classy fashion like, "I'm sorry for how my opponent is acting, I expected better from the president of the United States."

did anyone notice he used the Italian prime ministers name incorrectly?
he said Servio Berlusconi...it is pretty pathetic when a statesman cannot even get a fellow leaders name correct. par for the course i guess!
