John Kerry! If you didn't "lecture Me" I could like you better..I wanted
to like you and you LET ME DOWN SO BAD! I cannot deal. YOU HAD THE DEM Nomination .......and YOU TRASHED IT! You lost us.....and every time I see you I suffer that you didn't SEE US! Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich, and Carol Moseley-Braun SAW US! You Didn't.....

And, you could have had my "anti Iraq Invasion/2000 Selection Trash/ and MidTerm Loss bitterness vote .......IF You Had Listened?

If you didn't "Listen" you don't deserve my Democratic Vote....but I would have voted for you....if you had been REAL! You weren't.

I'm sad over this..but I'm glad others stepped into your shoes, since you couldn't do it......because of "whatever."

2. You have just defined democracy
The notion that we need Bush right now rests on the theory that some people are just special and we need them to lead us. The notion of democracy is that, after all the arguing, people are going to find one decent woman or man to step forward and do our bidding.

Many have stepped forward. Democracy kicks ass. :dem:

3. Quad City Times disagrees with you
quite completely too.

"Kerry listens. He ponders questions, asks follow-ups and answers thoughtfully. He appears to be continually learning.... That quality and an extraordinary record of public service make him the best potential president among the crop of contenders in Iowa."

7. What else would you expect to come off...
of a Kerry website. I'd put nice things said about me on my own website too.

Besides, this is somebody's opinion. Kerry may appear to ponder, shuffle his feet, act like he is just one of us and is interested in our problems. He may also demonstrate the proper nuances to questions asked of him and he may smile at the opportune times, hug the right people and gaze sympathetically into their eyes. If he actually learned something from all his encounters with the great unwashed it is not apparent in the status of his campaign.

His message is simply not getting through.

Just because he has a sterling record of public service does not mean that he has an entitlement that automatically promotes him to the highest office in the land. His qualifications will be measured and considered in the same way as the other candidates.

10. Here's more from another paper that took the time to examine him
and most who take the time to carefully examine the candidates come to the conclusion that Kerry's the best man:

"...This year on Jan. 19, Democratic Party caucuses-goers will decide who they'd like to unseat Republican President George W. Bush. Their vote should go to Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry....

Of the nine Democrats seeking the nomination, Kerry possesses the right experiences to best serve as president.....

...Iowa Democrats should let America know that Sen. John Kerry has offered the strongest vision for their party."

4. He has listened...
Maybe you should listen to him instead of television's talking heads.

5. Hogwash
Kerry has been listening to you and all Americans with his record. You can sniff about the IWR vote, but if you really look at his full record, you'd see he's been more than just listening to you. He's been backing up his words with actions.

No one had the Democratic nomination. It helped that Dean didn't have anything else going on when he ran and started his campaign by distorting other candidates views and records.

8. Looks like Kerry isn't the only one not listening to you, KoKo
The Kerry supporters seem determined to blame Kerry's lack of attention to the voters on YOUR lack of recognition of Kerry. It isn't that Kerry didn't have the energy to devote to your needs; it's that you didn't appreciate what he was doing for you. Thus he DESERVED your vote and you let him down.

I do hope you've learned your lesson.
