I supported Edwards, after flirting with Clark, during the primaries. Kerry just bored me.
Or so I thought.
The biggest thing that has changed with me is the fact I can actually visualize Kerry as a president. I just never saw it that way with Gore. I wanted Gore to win. But I just couldn't imagine him as president. Maybe it's because I supported him when he ran in 1988, my first-ever willfully chosen candidate. I grew up in a Repug household. But Gore made me a Dem. I guess I had just been through too much with him. Call it fatigue.
But Kerry is so striking. So presidential. He's knowledgable. He's charismatic. He's what a president should be. I don't know if it's a Kerry transformation or a personal transformation. But this does not look like the same guy who was fighting for his life last December. He's like an athlete at the top of his game. Like Michael Jordan on a 55 point night.

So much of our attention is focused on how bad Bush performed, I think that we're overlooking Sen. Kerry. I was very impressed.

8. So tell me, why hasn't Kerry talked more |
|
about his Senate record? Twice he has been 'attacked' about his 20 years...BCCI and Iran-Contra are not being discussed. Why?

13. OK, patience, patience. |

But with his BCCI legislation he could say something like "While this president was still trying to find oil in texas...."
Can't you just see it?

Kerry keeps impressing me more and more every single time I hear him speak. I swear if this keeps up and I ever meet him I am going to flat-out lick him, then I will be in trouble with the Secret Service.
I thought Kerry performed even BETTER in this debate than he did in the first.

He's a master at these debates.
Clark was my guy in the primaries. I honestly thought he was the best candidate we could put up against Bush. I thought he would be able to "handle" Bush better than the rest. I never once thought of Kerry that way.
I'm sitting here eatin' crow! BIGTIME! As much as I love Clark I have to honestly admit I do not think he could have done what Kerry has done in these last two debates. (I hope my fellow Clarkies will forgive me for saying so! :P) He has been almost flawless. He had to deliver and he did. It's true what they have said about him all along... he's best when his back's against the wall. He is better when he's under the gun. Sure he's giving us all ulcers but I'm glad his Sept SUCKED ass! We are reaping the rewards of that now! So, thank you No So Swift Boat Vets! THanks for pissing our guy off! LOL!
I'm happy as hell to be a Dem! I'm happy as hell that we are going to take this country back!

about presidential elections: "Democrats want to fall in love. Republicans just fall in line."
Probably Clinton.
But Democrats are falling in line more than I can ever remember.
I'll always love Clark, but I like Kerry enough to spend eight years with him. Yeah. :)

impressed with him. He wasn't my first choice, obviously, but he has done an outstanding job during the debates. I'm very pleased, even excited!!
