And I can remember that it was William Hopper playing Paul Drake (the private eye).

BTW, was he any relation to Dennis Hopper???

Kerry didn't have a Perry Mason moment tonight, which I suppose you are referring to.

The guilty in Perry's cases always confessed on the stand. Shrub didn't do that tonight.

BUT, Perry always got his man!!!!!!!!!!!

Today all the attorneys on TV are prosecutors. Hmmm.

I'm in my late 40s and I very much remember Perry Mason...and another 60's fave: The Defenders.
