9. I remember that time too, as a Dean supporter...

...and I thought it was blown way beyond proportion too, and saw people here opportunistically perpetuating the right-wing take on it. It really was pathetic how it was blown out of proportion. I guess what I'm really trying to say here, is if they're gonna blow that out of proportion, then they should really go after someone for this, where he took this dignified institution of the presidential debates (what Dean did was at a pep rally, making it appropriate, and later a bunch of media outlets apologized for blowing it out of proportion), broke the rules and went all scary in the middle of them! Like this is way worse than even what their mistaken impression of the Dean rally was.
