Gallup is at it again!
"A CNN/USA Today/Gallup snap poll taken immediately after the presidential debate Friday night found that respondents gave a slight, statistically insignificant edge to Sen. John Kerry over President Bush, 47 percent to 45 percent.

The respondents included 515 registered voters who watched the debate. Their political affiliations broke down as 38 percent Republican, 32 percent Democratic and 30 percent independent."

6% oversample this time, and Kerry STILL won. When are they going to get the friggin' message???

3. I've stopped paying attention to polls a long time ago
I just can't wait for the shocker when the 2nd comes around and all the press are scratching their heads b/c Kerry comes out nicely ahead. What all these people often fail to mention (trippi said it for the 1st time tonight) is that college kids and people in their early-mid 20s aren't getting polled accurately b/c they don't have home phones and pollsters can't really poll Cell phones.

6. i don't understand the point of that really
i mean, you have to come out and admit that you oversampled, so then your poll becomes useless. why make a bad name for yourself and cause your data to be immediately dismissed? why not just make an accurate poll at the onset?
