What conclusion did the pundits reach? Was there a spin in any direction? |
|
And did any media comment negatively on Bush or his out burst?

The media seems to be in Bush's camp. It's a "draw" according to most, although a lot of quick polls just taken show Kerry with the edge.

people are favoring Kerry (but it was not as big a win as the first debate--when Bush acted like a lunatic).
On the other hand--it seems like a slight majority of the pundits are giving it to Bush.
Obviously a huge Kerry win.

3. What about likability? Anyone say anything? |
|

a word a bout likability. But Bush did not do himself any favors in that department by screaming at the moderator. Look for his likability numbers to tank. BIG TIME as Cheney might say!!

I've gotten to the point where I have to just change the channel. I'm going to become one of those people I hate. People who don't listen to both sides.
But, I've been watching how much air time they give a Rep. talking head versus a Dem. and it's definitely biased and it has been for years.

4. There was a shred of honesty on MSNBC |
|
Three out of five on the panel (of course excluding Pat Buchanan and Ginsberg) said how freaky it was when Bush started charging toward Gibson. Called it aggressive and downright rude. Of course, Buchanan thought he was just showing strength and fighting back, blah, blah
Really that was a fine example of "more of the same" from Bush. Charging around like a rabid spider monkey, disrespecting the forum and acting as though the rules need not apply to him.
Ron Silver was on the panel. Pathetic. No wonder his only hit film was "The Entity" He's definitely possessed. He has a vicious demeanor toward Ron Reagan. I really wish they'd take the leash off Ron. They're desperate to keep him on message.
Even CNN made mention that these aggressive outbursts do not serve the President well.
