Poll question: Is the campaign over?
No, seriously. Think about this for a second.

Look at the instant debate polls that just came out. You know what I noticed about them? The results of those debates polls were exactly the same as the presidential preference polls- a slight Kerry lead.

People who are voting for Kerry thought he won the debate, and people who thought Kerry won the debate are voting for him. Both candidates' supporters voted for their own candidate 85% of the time.

I think virtually all voters who are going to make up their minds have at this point. In my mind, the campaign is over.

1. I do not agree
It ain't over until all the votes are counted. While I am very confident at this point, I won't relax until Nov. 3.

2. The election obviously isn't over.
Turnout always matters.

But what I'm saying here is, haven't the voters been thoroughly saturated with information at this point? Don't they know what they're going to do?

The numbers sure seem to give that impression.

3. Except for those bizarre undecided ignoramuses who left the
Town Hall Debate saying they still didn't know! I feel like the Samantha Bee sketch"what the fuck more do you want?" It is not like the two candidates are remotely alike!

4. Exactly. They're not going to decide.
They've been given all the information they could possibly need.

5. They say they're down to about six per cent of the country now.
I'm posting everywhere, watch them start falling for President Kerry.
