Brian Lamb is a f***ing whore
he is supposed to be neutral but it is oh-so-clear where his loyalties lie.

5. I'm sitting here watching him too and what ever happened to
having statistical facts and gearing questions toward that end. That way georgie porgie would have to defend his record, not his rhetoric.
It apparently doesn't matter any more if the pres lies and lies and lies and gets caught time and again without consequence. I'm dumb-founded by this. Quite frankly, I getting pissed about this.

6. Right! No accountability for
fucktard..and in a real world blambo wouldn't have to ask why the caller refered to bush as "an idiot"!!

7. I have been watching this show since 94 and I still think he is fair.
I do sometimes think he takes the side of the one a head and puts in questions to shake up that side. When he first did it I said to my self. Oh he is really a Dem but he came back and did the same to the other side.He has done this over and over and I think it is just how he questions people .

8. I absolutely disagree
he is much harder on Dem callers and is it me or does he ALWAYS end a segment with a Bush supporter?

13. so true
Lamb is repuke thru and thru. Granted he isn't as over the top as FAUX or CNN but that is the worst kind. He tries to sway the unsuspected by playing the role of a neutral host. In reality he has a loaded agenda that equals both CNN and FAUX.

On one show I watched, a caller asked for his resignation for taking C-Span to the far right. He was red faced, speechless and quickly moved on without comment.

14. I would have LOVED to have seen
that one. I would think he would try to disguise his true desire after he gets busted on national c-span.

It's ridiculous that we have to even be having this conversation.

He was beside himself wanting Clinton to lose. He hasn't changed.

16. Sometime in the first half of the Bush II administration
C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" show started dividing the call-in lines this way:

Call 202-xxx-xxxx / Support Pres. Bush
Call 202-xxx-xxxx/ Support Democrats (or now Kerry)
Call 202-xxx-xxxx / Support Others

During the Clinton admin, I remember that the lines used to be divided as Rethugs/Dems/Indies or Others. None of this "support" whoever crap.

But then when *Bush took office, even people who called in on the Rethug line were more often than not critical of the Bush regime. So they started requiring callers to support one side or the other. This has the effect of making it seem like 50% of the public supports Bush, which you know it doesn't.

My tinfoil hat says Lamb was behind this change, and it pisses me off.

18. This thread is fucking bullshit.
Some people won't be happy until repubes are
silenced entirely. Hey I wouldnt mind it myself,
but it aint gonna happen, and in the meantime CSPAN
is the best thing on TV, period. CSPAN & its founder Brian
Lamb are gifts to democracy. Do you really think
that just because he & other CSPAN people let the
imbecile repubes talk that theyre biased? That's
thinking as loony as the repubes' thinking. Again,
thank God for CSPAN and Brian Lamb and all the
moderators on there.
