The last debate is next Wednesday, almost 3 weeks before election....
Last night's debate will probably be called a wash. So more importance will be placed on the last debate. But with almost 3 weeks left, there is plenty of time to recover from a debate disaster. It was probably planned to not have the last debate too close to election day. There is a recovery time permitted.

What can we expect in those last 3 weeks? Knowing the past of the right-wing media and propagandists, we can see the writing on the wall. Kerry will be attacked relentlessly by "special" groups, favorable to Bush, of course. Prepare for the final assault.

4. Yep.
ANd there will be more, I would guess. Swift Boats will also return. How should Kerry campaign counter these?

3. Question: How many of you secretly wish Edwards was first on the ticket
Not to disparage Kerry...and not intending to make Kerry supporters angry....but didn't you just feel the energy and punch when Edwards took it to Dick Cheney?....Cheney, as you recall pummeled Joe in 2000....And Edwards was the first person I ever saw get the best of Cheney...in any type of forum (debate, interview, etc)

9. Well...it's more than the debates
True, Kerry won the debates, the first one convincingly...but in my mind Edwards had the much tougher assignment in Cheney...but aside from that...Edwards just seems to have more youthful energy and vigor. He's a fireballing John Gruden type. He's the best talker out there...there's no way you are going to pin him as lethargic and weak...If Kerry beat Bush in debate, I think Edwards would destroy him. But that's just me.
But on a positive note...if Kerry pulls this election out...then can hold on in '08, I think this team will be in power for 16 years. I know this is too bad for Hillary...but...oh well.

12. We like Edwards too....
But the right man is at the top of the ticket. Kerry does not yet have the experience to be at top of ticket.

6. I don't.
I think Kerry is the perfect person for the top of the ticket.

8. If Edwards is better than Kerry in debating,
That's exactly the way it needs to be. The Chimp doesn't need the extra force of a trial lawyer to lose. The Dick does. To do otherwise would be like using an elephant gun for the proverbial fish in the barrel.

But I think they both kick ass in debates, no matter who they're going up against.

10. We definitely should.
This is outrageous... Can a TV station actually cancel a planned program for arbitrary reasons? I'm pretty sure they couldn't over here, without a much better excuse than "We're suckers who support Bush."
