Michael Stipe mentioned Bush being wired |
|
At the Vote for Change concert in Orlando last night. He showed us his pack and wire and said he wore an earpiece. But he said his was used for stage instruction and that nobody put words in his mouth. He also said he doesn't get on the internet much, but had noticed the chatter about the bulge on the back of Bush's jacket.
I wonder if Michael Stipe visits D.U.
By the way, there were quite a few Bush supporters there, torn between their undying love for Bruce and the fact that some of their ticket money went to MoveOn. I made sure I mentioned this when I ran into them. I thanked them heartily for their contribution to our cause.

There's something strange going on tonight There's something going on that's not quite right George's nervous and the lights are bright There's something going on that's not quite right
There's something going on that wasn't here before Keep your eyes glued to the floor There's something strange going on tonight There's something going on that's not quite right

3. I use to have a crush on Michael Stipe when I was in Art School |
|
I bought the first REM record on cassette and I played it so much I had to rebuy it several times over.
I hope that Michael and all of the other musicians get the word out that the Dummy is cheating during the debates.

4. That was funny. Judging by the crowd reaction most of them are |
|
hip to the internets.
Bruce gave a nice, thoughtful "PSA" prior to 'Born to Run' that seemed to piss off the guy behind me. "America isn't always right, that's a fairy tale, a myth. But America is always true."
Damn fine show!
