OMG- Its a PUCKER??????
oh my, this is toooooo funny.

Bulge in Bush suit wasn't a radio, campaign says

WHAT PRESIDENT'S TAILOR CALLS FABRIC PUCKER IS FEEDING RUMORS OF COVERT DEBATE COACHING

Mercury News Wire Services

WASHINGTON - What was that bulge in the back of President Bush's suit jacket at the presidential debate in Miami last week?

According to rumors racing across the Internet this week, the rectangular bulge visible between Bush's shoulder blades was a radio receiver, transmitting answers from an offstage counselor into a hidden presidential earpiece. The prime suspect was Karl Rove, Bush's powerful political adviser.

President Bush's tailor pooh-poohed all the talk Friday.

Georges de Paris, who made the suit Bush wore, said the bulge was nothing more than a pucker along the jacket's back seam, accentuated when the president crossed his arms and leaned forward on the lectern.

Salon.com writer Dave Lindorff, who suggested in an online article Friday that Rove might have been feeding Bush answers through some electronic gizmo with an earpiece buried in his ear canal, wasn't convinced.

``There's definitely something under there pushing up through the suit,'' Lindorff said.

1. Dear Lord
Upon reading that headline, my first thought was of my cat's tendency to stick her bootie in my face whenever I'm lying down.

8. And by "pucker" they mean
The little nasty green devil (I picture it sort of like a gremlin) who spawned Cheney, Rove et. al. slithering around under his suit hissing answers in his ear.

Somehow this whole election process seems like a bad horror movie to me.

10. I would like to see the Bush Campaign have to continue
denying this charge. I like seeing them on the defensive. Anyone who sees the picture would know that this is no pucker.

14. Something I noticed
At times Bush was obviously intently listening, but his eyes were not focused on Kerry -- they were focused on empty space. It is the sort of expression one would make when listening to a disembodied voice, like a radio broadcast. He seemed to shift back from pretending to listen to Kerry to listening to that other voice.

If the Amazing Randi is out there reading this, do you think you can do a "Peter Popoff" to George and Mr Rove and Mr Hughes?
