cspan reran the town hall debates in split screen and bush was STILL making nasty faces. and i think it was worse this time. this time he was much angrier and it clearly showed on it's face. it's obvious he hates Kerry. i think Kerry was very much aware of the Chimp losing it. Kerry himself always had a calm and in command look about him. so even if he was angry or annoyed he does a really good job of not showing it. and i think this makes Bush even more angry.

what are some things Kerry and do or say to set Bush off again. a few things i thought of are when Kerry mentions his war experience, bringing up Bush's dad, and bringing up Bush's priveledged life.

4. He came real close
in this Friday's debate. Both my wife and I saw bush looking like he was going to launch out of his chair and throw a punch when Kerry had his back turned to him.

6. That would be beautiful.
I have thought of this myself. Wouldn't it be great if Kerry got Bush so pissed off that Bush hauled off and tried to land one? Maybe Kerry should bring up that even the NYT are wondering if Bush was wearing a wire during the first debate. Or maybe wave the tax return with that "little ol' timber mill" mentioned on it. Or maybe he should bring up Bush's tendencies to miss physicals, like the one he isn't taking until after the election.

7. Compare him unfavorably to Poppy...
however, if Chimpy had actually been Oedipus, he would have blinded someone else. He takes resopnsibility for none of his actions.

8. It's amusing to consider, but what would the SS do?
Is there a precedent for a sitting president attacking his opponent? I don't imagine it's a scenario they touch on in training. Would they just try to restrain Bush? Would they put him in cuffs? If Bush went that barmy, would he start fighting with his own detail? It would be bizarre.

13. no doubt there is a procedure
I think Kerry's Secret Service crew would just body block the attack, which they should be able to do without causing harm to the Chimpster, assuming he just tries to slap or punch at Kerry like a spoiled little brat. At the same time, there would be "technical difficulties" that would magically take the whole show off the air.

11. i'm a tad worried
I think it's more likely that some Hinckley family member or something will be employed by the Bushes to deal with this "issue." I don't see Chimpy getting his hands dirty in hand to hand combat with a combat veteran, even an older model.

But in answer to your question, I don't think Kerry can or should do anything special to set Chimpy off. Just speaking truth is getting the MIMS agitated enough for all the world to see.

12. As amusing as these various fantasies are
in which we envision the Shrub losing his composure completely and thoroughly destroying whatever credibility he has in one fell swoop, I think they are just that, fantasies. He won't do anything dramatic, there will no dramatic melt-down on his part during the 3rd debate.

However, I think John Kerry must continue doing what he has done the first 2 debates which is the persistent and precise deconstruction of all the Idiot King's truly poor-ass knowledge of running the country and supposed "leadership" qualities. Once again, if done correctly, we will have witnessed a series of strange and peculiar, if not scary, behaviors on the part of the (p)resident lasting over 90:00. This will cap off a series of debates in which his deranged personality is quite apparent and obvious to most of the public and anyone who has an open mind.

There is far greater pleasure in watching him melt-down slowly as far as I am concerned.

18. "Steward of the Land"
Kerry should mention that phrase again and point out the horrible record of the jerk w's environmental policies. Kerry is geting better at short declaritive statements indicting w's lies.
