So let me get this straight.
Last night, Bush touted the Afghanistan elections as a triumph of democracy.

Last night, Bush ridiculed the United Nations by (in essence) by saying that he's not looking to be popular "in the halls of Europe" -- whatever the hell that means.

Media Reaction: Bush was strong -- the debate was "too close to call."

Today, the Afghanistan election is in turmoil and the United Nations is leading the effort to salvage the situation and avoid any possible hostility.

Media Reaction: (chirp) (chirp)

Sometimes I just want to move far, far away.
