1. Well supposedly CNN changed it
In another thread it was said CNN's morning anchor said the poll got "too Kerry" so they had to replace it.

9. correct, saw it myself, they had to scrap the poll because
Kerry people get up way too early and had skewed it. I think they're getting the result they wanted now..

26. SPECIAL POLLS COOKIE---look out for this
Besides the regular cnn.com cookie, there is one just called "polls." That's the name, period. Then the description is polls@cnn.com or something.

5. I emailed
You scrapped all of last nights poll results and started over? What kind of a station are you running?

Do Republicans fingers not work the night of the debate? Now after the huge indicated victory by John Kerry in the debate last night as shown by your poll, you scrap all the John Kerry votes and start over? This to negate all the Democrat voters who thought the poll was over.

You should run we support Bush across the screen 24 hours a day. Because if your bias was any more blatant, your license would be revoked by the FCC.

It is disgusting that you would consider yourselves a fair source of news.

47. None Exist...Best To Seek Out More Truthful Alternative Outlets, Like
Democracy Now, AAR, World Link TV - Free Speech TV, Pacifica, and the handful of liberals on radio. In print, more choices there - The Nation, Mother JOnes, Atlantic Monthly - NYT's Mag rag, etc....

we have been doing lots of e-mailing to CNN over the past several years trying to get them to see the light. They have gotten worse, pro-Bush-whores more than ever.

I used to think FReeping polls helped. But with the bots against it, it takes the fun out of it all. I'm going to go the other way on it.

Let's get Kerry up to 99%!!

is that good enough???

there's been over 250K votes since I voted in it an hour and a half ago. CNN should check the web server logs and report multiple votes per minute from the same IP addresses.

31. Something odd with this poll
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 04:54 PM by Ducks In A Row
refreshed the results about every 10 min this last half hour:

Bush Kerry Even Total
664327 514533 22944 1201804
677051 516282 23046 1216379
690683 518149 23170 1232002

about 10x the bush votes? I don't think so. Something is screwy here.

32. Note: Use the front page poll!
I just noticed that there are actually two different CNN online polls: one on the front page and one in the "debates" section. The debates page poll has Kerry ahead by a huge margin, but only about 60,000 total votes. The front page, meanwhile, has over a MILLION total votes, and Kerry is way behind.

Anyway, make sure to go to the front page (http://www.cnn.com ) and scroll down to that poll.

Thanks! Keep it up... you guys rock!
