I lied in a previous post about the health of hating freepers,
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 04:29 PM by saracat
I participated in the canvass today and I found people I hated even more. Dems who support Bush! I hope they are hit by something. They are too stupid to live. (and I don't care if the Freeps lift this post) They think Sadamn Hussien caused the World Trade Center . They told me. And how * won the debates ,all of them!,including I suppose the VP debate he wasn't included in! And then the Nam Viets who said Kerry's protest and anyone who protested caused the Vietnam War and we are doing the same thing now! I won't bore you with the details but it was hard to be polite. My father was a disabled Veteran and I was a Vietnam War protester! Fortunately they are being balanced out, overcome, by Repugs who support Kerry! I hate these people. And I am not sorry I do! And don't get me started on the bitch who changed to * because she was voting values! I politely said I had values too. My friend told me I was wrong to say anything. Too bad. That was a direct insult. And to add insult to injury, I am a born and bred New Yorker whose family still lives there. But I obviously know can't appreciate the magnitude of Sept.11!

2. One thing to consider...
There are people I know who are lifelong Repubs who are now registered as Democrats so they can enact the scenario you described and discourage people like you.

How do I know them? Two of them are my uncles. I had their names tagged in our local VAN at Dem HQ here, but how many others are out there to demoralize our volunteers?

It's despicable beyond words.

Keep your chin up and your heart light, and thank you for canvassing!!

3. Wow! Really? That is totally creepy! But I could tell
by the walk list these have been Dems for a while. But low efficacy, which is why they are targeted!

4. I was disheartened to even think that a Democrat would even
think about voting for Bush.

How can people be content to be so UNINFORMED and STUPID? What kind of cave do these people live in to continue to believe that Saddam was responsible, even remotely, for the attack on 9/11? Because our lying president said so? God help us all, because I fear that the STUPID people will be responsible for seeing to it that they get exactly what they deserve (4 more years!)

6. Yup. The most updated walk list. Unless thry are falsely registered.
But most have been registered for several years , some for a lifetime. But we do have more Republicans who are organized for Kerry than Yahoos of this sort.

7. Then they need to just go on and change parties, sounds like.
Old Dixiecrats who missed the bus over to the GOP in the 60s, 70s, or 80s? Whatever, they are, sorry---retarded.

11. Don't EVER give these motherfuckers that they have values.
Not even for one second. These people don't believe in SHIT.

They have no virtue whatsoever.

12. I've been working the phone banks in NC - calling registered democrats
and the older ones (65+) mostly said they were voting for bush. I wish they would just go ahead and switch parties!

Strange too, the majority are voting democrat in the Senate and Governor race. I just do not get it!

13. The older one's are so screwing themselves
and they don't even know it. My thoughts are that as Medicare and Social Security phase out, that they'll be singing a different tune. Unfortunately, that seems to be the way it is, especially with Southerners.

Note: My whole family is Southern, and many of them live in North Carolina.

14. ..And that's why you don't want them to switch parties.
"the majority are voting democrat in the Senate and Governor race."

I see yards with Feingold & Bush stickers sometimes in WI. Sometimes I hope Feingold has enough coattails to carry Kerry.

15. OLD COOTS
The old farts buy into Bushie's faith-based craps and the general rightwing whines about the newer generations' "degeneracy", see?
