Were there any DUers actually at the debate?

I would guess not, because it was supposed to be undecideds or persuadables.

I ask because I want to know the temperature of the room.

Having done some theater and been involved in music, I know how important audience response is to performance.

I could only watch reactions on TV, but it seemed the audience temperature dropped a few degrees when W was up.

I'm a Wash U. student, and there was a lottery among students for tickets - I unfortunately didn't get a ticket (although I did watch it with a bunch of other Wash U. students in the Chapel, where they set up a giant screen - audience was EXTREMELY Pro-Kerry).

I can ask my friends - they seemed more excited just to be at the debate. One of them, however, (and they're all Kerry supporters) said Bush seemed much more charismatic in person than on TV, but I don't know how overall reaction was.

That's interesting that Bush comes across better in person.
