October Surprise
Does anybody have any clue if there might be an October Surprise coming out of the Kerry Camp or anywhere else? If YOU could break and October Surpise, what would you want it to be?

4. I like that!

Eschew the dramatic for the mundane. I mean that in a good way. I hear people talking about these outlandish fantasies about Shrub being caught with is pants down, but the truth is, that will not happen. There will be no magic bullets in the next 3 weeks. We will not be rescued by dramatics now.

But something as simple and clever as a letter such as you stated would just do wonders.

6. That'd be a HUGE October surprise
One can only pray that it comes true.

I think Shinseki (sp) that Kerry has been mentioning is going to come out with a huge punch right in the Bush admin. face about something. That is my prediction of one thing that will happen this month.

18. That may backfire
Many American voters have a fear of attempted foreign interference with our electoral process.

26. Uh, Shensecki(sp?) IS an American
and former Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff. And I'm more worried about RepubliCon interference in our electoral process.

7. And spilling ALL the beans as he walks straight to a newsroom,
preferably CBS, (60 Minutes) because at least they try - and Powell lets all the truth out. ALL of it. OK everyone, if you pray, pray. If you visualize, visualize. Into voodoo dolls? Get busy!

The debates have been a better October Surprise than Kerry could have ever hoped for.

Bush is hemmoraging middle voters at an astonishing rate.

8. Well, that's just your "opinion."
The "other side" will gaze upon the nekkid chimp and say "what beautiful finery" and that "side" will be broadcast from sea to shining sea as proof that the nation is divided into blue and red colors instead of who or who is not wearing clothes. Everything now, including nekkidness, has been reduced to a "political opinion."

No Clothes = No Brains = Half the Electorate. Scary indeed.

Karl Rove: 'We've Got a Couple of Surprises' for Kerry

President Bush's top political adviser, Karl Rove, said Wednesday that the Bush-Cheney campaign is planning some October "surprises" for challengers John Kerry and John Edwards.
"We've got a couple of surprises that we intend to spring," Rove told ABC radio host Sean Hannity while explaining that he intends to wage an aggressive campaign no matter what the polls show.

"It's 34 days and that's a long time in politics, and when you get complacent you lose," the top White House adviser said.

"We've got to stay on the offense. We've got to continue to press the battle onto the turf that they won in 2000: the Pennsylvanias, the Michigans and the Wisconsins and Iowas and Minnesotas and New Mexicos and Oregons.

"And we've got to make sure that we lose none of the close states that we won in 2000 - Florida or Ohio or Colorado or Nevada or New Hampshire.

"And you've also got to have a couple of surprises - and we've got a couple of surprises that we intend to spring."

Asked if he expected the Kerry-Edwards campaign to engage in dirty tricks, Rove cited Democrat claims in recent days about a secret Bush plan to reinstate the draft.

"This is all bunk. It is a sign of the desperate straits they find themselves in and their willingness to discard the truth and say anything they think that will get them a vote," he said.

14. Supposedly There's A Slimeboat Whopper On The Way
Someone posted a thread claiming the Sinclair "anti-Kerry special" is one that is being produced with some very damaging material. I'll just include words urination and flag. You fill in the blanks. The intimation was this "bombshell" would be the centerpiece of this "special" that also would be picked up, in parts or whole, by the major cable channels (covering a news event ya know).

Hopefully I stumbled across some aimelss drifters, since the thought of another flare up from these assholes is just the kind of crap RoveCo. likes to pull when their up on the ropes.

I don't get it. I'm assuming Kerry didn't piss on a flag. Do they
have footage of him standing around while someone else did? Or are
they simply editing together Kerry's speeches with the activities
of some of the more extreme VN vets against the war? Is this something
Nixon collected and decided to sit on for future use? I'd prefer not to
wait for Rove to tell me, if you know what it is.

Don't you wish Bush would say this at his post-debate rally?

Revealing who in the White House has been leaking information, opening up the entire Plame incident as well as the "mole" that was outed in July. We could also use an undercover informant within the CIA or State Department... Deep Throat II, the Sequel.

11. Copies of F-9/11
hung in a little plastic bag on every doorknob in America -- labeled "Free Copy, Moore won't prosecute piracy (cite to story). No money to Moore, no cost to you. C'Mon, you know you're curious...just watch it, no one will know."

Americans can't resist controversy or free crap. I imagine there are many who would like to see it but would be "nervous" about going/buying/renting in some small towns....this would let them see it risk-free.

Would have to be disorganized by necessity, and Moore would get big blowback on claims that he was directly involved...but wouldn't it be sweeeeeet?!

21. The PDB
That presidential memo entitled "Bin Laden determined to strike in US"

Apparently contained in that memo are phrases that refer to Hijacked airplanes and buildings in New York. Because our president really cares about what happened during 9/11 he has refused to release the entire memo, we only know the title because counter-terrorism was tick that Bush kept saying we had no idea that this could happen. October surprise for Kerry the full memo comes out and it says the Bush administration should have figured out what was going to happen or at least asked airlines to keep an eye out.
