then I watched the movie itself again. I had seen it in the theater with my wife and a packed house....and the mood for me is much different as I watch it alone and absorb the details again. Clearly, he was able to work some updates and edits into the movie which worked very well for being fresh right before the election.

To see the Iraqi civilians being terrorized by Americans..to see Iraqi and US casualties in a war we now have incontrovertible proof was a mistake--

It inspired me again to first go out and punch my fist into a wall...but...after that? To move into the next phase all of us are in. We have done everything we can to convince new people to register. That part of the battle is over in many states and winding down in others.

Now.....encourage them to get to the polls...work on encouraging other people who are soft lean Bush or undecided or soft lean Kerry to arm themselves with facts. Get them to watch F911 which will IN TURN compel them to read more about all the important facts they've missed out on.

We've got to each do something locally whether it's driving a shuttle bus to the polling locations from neighborhoods where people want to vote and can't.

We need to be there volunteering as an election monitor. We can find out what local organizations are on hand to work on contested results if that becomes the case.

We can work very hard on hard-headed but level-headed republicans that if they HAVE to cast a vote for Bush they at least balance their vote with some Dems so they can get the Dems in power in the house and/or senate.

Please go do as much as you possibly can just like Franken is out on the road encouraging. DO you want to wake up on November 3rd to the wrong result and wonder what you might have done?

Let's get the sane world back. Let's get rid of this mistake.

2. Oh, I know what you mean, it's a much different experience watching alone
I too saw it in the theater, and just left very angry. I knew most of what was in the movie as it was (Carlyle, Saudi connections) but it just infuriated me.

I got the DVD the other day and watched it twice - both with my husband and alone. It was a very different experience. I wept openly several times... like when the House members can't get a Senator to sign their objection, footage from Bush literally running like a scared little criminal into the White House (it's so symbolic), the black screen with only the sounds of 9/11 (powerful), and through many scenes shown in Iraq and of course for Mrs. Lipscomb's unimaginable pain.

I'm going to try to get everyone I know to watch this movie. My husband's mom called yesterday to ask him if he could come over and hook up her DVD player for her. He told her on one condition - I'm going to bring a movie over and you have to watch it. She asked what and he told her Fahrenheit 9/11. She agreed, saying that she did want to see it since she was curious about it. Overall she's probably going to vote for Kerry but she's also pretty apathetic - so that was wonderful news.

3. that's so great....if each who voted for Gore got one more....
this thing would be a landslide. if you voted in 2000, go grab somebody who didn't vote or who voted the WRONG GUY and have them vote for Kerry.

We could seriously have a landslide on our hands.

I mean, WHAT PERSON who voted for GORE is gonna turn around and vote for Bush? Extreme minority of folks.
