1. Russert is whoring like I've never seen before - Edwards being
grilled and I don't know what is wrong with Russert. He is purposefully trying to bait John. John is doing great tho...

2. Yes, but a little earlier,
Russert embarassed Pete Coors (R) Colorado-by asking him why, on one hand, he says his company is pro-family values, etc., and why Coors sponsers Gay Day events!

Coors' face got red.

Some Ben-Stein lookalike named Salazar was sitting next to Coors-guess they are running against one another?

4. Russert is trying to get clear and concise answers from Edwards
It's Russert's job to ask hard or pointed questions. Would you rather Edwards be lobbed softballs and Russert come off like a fluffer for Kerry/Edwards?

6. No, I don't want JE to get softball questions
But I don't want him to get hammered while the OTHER side DOES get softballs. I wasn't watching this morning, so I don't know what's going on. I just reckon that's what people are getting upset about.

7. Both Russert & Faux Sunday News offered wishes for "safe travels" to John
on the campaign trail. :wtf:

I think that is a little odd that they both would - I don't recall hearing that warni... well-wish before. :tinfoilhat:

8. I can't imagine why the Kerry camp allowed Edwards on that show.
Not a disastrous move. But not a good move.

3. "..Bush...FRESH from the second debate is SLAMMING his opponent"
That was the lead in by Fredricka Whitfield yesterday. They cut to their reporter on the Bush campaign stating how great they say he did and how optimistic they are about the election.

Then they showed W saying his new "He can run but he can't hide" line and pointed out that he said the same thing about.........Osama.

The Kerry campaign reporter was glum and looked like he was covering a funeral but they did show Kerry saying his line about "I thought George Bush was going to attack Charlie Gibson" no follow up there from CNN.

You are right.

Now they have some W rep restating the debate points that W tried to make and talk about how GREAT Dimson did.

5. Wow...and imagine that they actually took down the online poll
showing Kerry winning the debate.

Huh. Just doesn't make any sense, does it?

9. I saw it earlier today, too.
They literally gave Bush TWICE as much time as Kerry.

Are they afraid of losing their tax breaks?
