OMG
looks like a wire to me, too thin to be the back part of the tie. I was wondering what he was doing with his hands there.

4. Is there anyone who REALLY believes |

The president of the US, with access to all the coolest Bond-like gadgets, would wear a wire (rather than wireless) and have it be the size of a fucking toaster?
My theory is, the puss is wearing a vest and his handlers don't want anyone to know because they're afraid it makes him look weak and scared.
We're talking about the guy in charge of the CIA, NSA, and every other spy group in the country. These are the guys who can make a wire that's almost impossible to detect by TRAINED individuals. But, they're gonna wire the chimp with a fucking boom-box strapped to his back, and put him in front of millions of television viewers? I don't think so.

The "wire" that was shown in the Salon piece was kind of 60s-era Bond gadgetry.

Maybe they didn't want anyone else involved. Maybe this was just between Rove, darth and *? More people involved, more voices that can speak. So perhaps they got it mail-order under a phoney name or over the counter someplace?

5. well if it were a wire |

it didn't do much good for him. Kerry creamed him again. Maybe Rove should just give up on the wire routine.

8. Bush is using a wireless mike |
|
he is probably wearing the transmitter on his body.
This could be a set up so they can say see he doesn't wear a wire, it's gear for his microphone.
Keep in mind that the first debate they used microphones that were attached to the podiums. No need for wireless transmiters in that debate.

10. The transmitter doesn't have to be on his body |
|
I think it's built in to the mike he's holding in his hand.
Frankly that "wire" doesn't look like anything to me.
