Philadelphia Inquirer Endorses Kerry/Edwards for President
I am pleased and proud to say that I have had many conversations with Editorial Board members who are patients within my practice and lobbied hard against any endorsement of Bush for a second term. To whatever extent, no matter how small it may have been, it was well worth the time, effort, and lost income to fully discuss these matters with these writers and editors.

Onward and upward...or as we say in Growth and Development: Downward and Forward!

3. Editor and Publisher on endorsements
Remember circulation is key. Newspaper professionals are news junkies.

Today, two more important papers endorsed Senator John Kerry, who has been on a roll this weekend in E&P's exclusive daily tabulation of newspapers throwing their support to one candidate or the other in the hard-fought race for the White House.

Today the two largest papers in their respective swing states endorsed Kerry: The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Portland Herald-Press in Maine.

Bush has notched no major endorsements so far this weekend, that we are aware of, and the current official E&P count stands at nine papers for Kerry and five for Bush, with Kerry holding about a 5-1 advantage in the circulation of the newspapers backing him.
