4. On 87 Billion...tied everything he said together. |

That money wasn't for supporting the troops. It was for no bid contracts for Halliburton and a slush fund for the president.
JRE did not regret trying to deny Halliburton money. Said Bush sent these soldiers into the war before that vote without the body armour they needed. It's ridiculous to blame him and Kerry for voting agains that bill. Why didn't they have it in the first place?

5. He really turned the table on Bush there. Why was there a vote at that... |
|
...point on getting soldiers equipment? Why were they even in there at all without the equipment they needed? Why are parents sending children body armor?
That money was for Halliburton and that's the same reason they didn't have the equipment they needed.

7. So why doesn't Edwards say... |
|
...that they would have voted for it if B/C had taken out the slush fund?
Why don't they point out that if the bill had not passed, it would have been adjusted and sent back? Why don't they point out the previous bill every fuckin time this come up tofurther point out the no-bid thing?
Timmy want's to rebut Edwards saying the troops don't have enough body armour by saying $300K was in the 87 Bil for body armour so why did Edwards vote against it. Edwards FAILED to clearly point out that that bill passed and the soulders STILL had insufficient body armour (1+1=2), that $300K out of 87 bil for body armour is shockingly low, that a better bill should have been crafted and if the repus had not played politics with the lives of our troops a better bill WOULD have been crafted with less slush funds and more protection of the troops.
Damn!!!

I was left with the impression that Timmy is playing deliberately ignorant in order to suply Bushco with talking points.
As for other viewers, I dunno. I feel that a tighter form of "call and response" needs to be affected. K & E still take too long to slap the shit down. Gotta tighten up that rhythm section and make the solos more focused.

11. I find that something interesting about Edwards is that you tend to |
|
percieve every word he says. That's why he was such a good lawyer.
He speaks at a good pace, with a good rhythm, and you know what he's saying. He doesn't use too many words or too few, and he doesn't get off message with tangents.
I think that an average viewer knows exactly what the score is after listening to that.

6. Why can't Russert and his cronies move on from |
|
the $87 billion vote. They all clearly understand what the whole deal was, but they persist in playing dumb and flaying this dead horse instead of asking pertinent question that could actually educate some undecided voter.
As 'journalists' have they no desire to enlighten the public? I guess not.

And, as we know, what fails to educate serves Bushco. What encourages ignorance serves Bushco. What incites hate above reason serves Bushco.
