Trial Lawyers: How about Corporate Lawyers??

When Public Citizen came out with a report a week ago demonstrating that tieups in court are not due to trial lawyers, and that corporations are about 4X likely to sue in court than citizens and have a much higher percentage of frivilous lawsuits, I was hoping that Kerry and particularly Edwards might use some of this information in the debates. Insurance companies are some of the worst abusers, using deep corporate pockets to prevent and slow payments to people who are, honestly often in desparate straits. To anyone involved in the system it is likely common knowledge that from health to worker's comp, the real problem is the insurance companies.

2. But, but, but.... corporations should be able to screw you

And if you, worthless slug that you are, dare to expect a corporation to obey the law and be ethical, then you should have your case thrown out. After all, you are taking money out of the pocket of the poor beleaguered corporate execs.
