How many people will watch the 3rd debate?
It so seems to me that Debate #2 was the event of the season.

What's the consensus on how well viewed #3 will be?

Any numbers for #2 yet?

1. It's gonna be a big event
because the media set it up that way. For a lot of people who watch those media, we are in a tie. When there is a tie you want to see the next round, I think.

2. Debate #2 had 30 million fewer viewers than Debate #1
I suspect Debate #3 will be the same as #2, or maybe even less. It depends on what other things are available on TV on Wed. Friday had a lot of things to contend with, baseball, fri night dates, etc.

6. Wow! That's significantly fewer than the VP debate...
That means that almost 50% of people have only the impression of Geroge Jr.'s bumblosity from debate #1. Cool!

Though I thought Kerry's performance was as good in #2 as #1, which helps cement him as "Presidential".

3. The first debate set a record 63 milion viewers
I could be wrong but I don't think the 2nd debae had close to that many. Most people will get their impression of the 2nd debate through the post-debae commentary and spin.

7. I'm looking forward to it!
George Jr. melting down on Wednesday
REM in Santa Barbara on Thursday (with hopefully a lot of anti-Bush messages)

It's gonna be a nice week!
