FOX reported this on their news this morning. If that is true, I hope Kerry brings up BCCI and the terrorist banks and the Iran-Contra investigations. And I hope he brings up George W Bush's connections to some of hte characters in the BCCI scandal...Kerry should be ready for this tactic, as well as he should be ready if someone asks him a question about "3 mistakes' he has made in the past....

First, remember that in Texas the real power is the lieutenant governor. The governor signs or vetoes legislation and signs death warrants (surprised he didn't get carpal tunnel from that chore). He vetoed several bills while governor that were later passed over his veto by the legislature. When the laws turned out to be needed legislation, Bush was quick to claim credit for them. Much like Homeland Security, the 9/11 commission and others which he strongly opposed, then claimed credit for when they happened despite his opposition.
