Ok, now a report from the NBC evening news....for West Coast
Started off with horrific report on violence from Iraq.

Kerry in Florida with Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton. Either Jesse or Al (am only listening, not watching) said, "And we will GET UP...and we will MARCH TO THE POLLS....for PAYBACK!" (OHHH, payback, I like that, revenge is vastly underrated.)

Said bush* is giving up the flip-flop rhetoric for "outside the mainstream liberal" label. Compared it to what was done to Dukakis.

Maybe 24 million college students to go vote next month?

1. If I were Kerry..
I'd have Jesse and Al camped-out in Florida for the next three weeks. Work the turnout, work the turnout!

6. And keep them out of the media
They're not well-liked by most Americans.

7. Bingo.
It'd be a balancing act between charging-up the base and not turning-off more conservative/moderate voters. Let them fly under the radar, doing small meetings at churches and private homes, perhaps going from door-to-door, spreading the word.

2. it's going to be a little for difficult for the bushbots to chant..
"outside the mainstream liberal". It just doesn't roll off the tongue like flip-flop does.

3. CBS did a story on the Sinclair stations showing the 42 minute smear liar
show the third week in October. They said the HQ "strongly recommends" to their affiliates that they show it.

They had a quote from a news person saying Sinclair had "dumbed down" their news because of their political agenda. They said they have given mostly to Repubs.

Kerry campaign said it doesn't trust Sinclair's option of letting them "respond" or whatever they are supposed to get to do.

4. They preempted The CBS News here tonight.
At least, the network news was preempted.

Was this on the Sunday CBS Evening News?

I have already called the station to complain about them cutting to a Dean Martin infomerical five minutes into the news!

Please let me know if this was on the Sunday evening news. I will call and complain again if it was.

5. I e-mailed you back. Sorry I didn't see your question here quicker.
My Sinclair CBS station - KGAN in Cedar Rapids, IA, showed the story about what slime balls they are but I don't think they can control the national CBS news program and they may not have even known it was coming.
