But the price of a movie ticket? Nah. I'm actually rather sick at the whole, "WOW! IT OFFENDS EVERYBODY!" theme. It was funny five years ago. Now, it seems boring.
I've spent the past four years being offended. I don't need any more, even if it is just for kicks. It's time to get serious. People are dying. Rights are being trampled on. I don't see anything particularly funny in that.

3. I never knew what it was about until I saw that clip |

Appears to be a satire on current political events.

and supposedly in true South Park fashion, it makes fun of both sides. Tears up Michael Moore and Shrub equally as I understand it.
I'm just bored of this. Like I said, it was funny five years ago, but people are really dying now. I'm just not in the mood for bi-polar humor. Another reason to hate Bush. He's killed part of my sense of humor.

11. It's absolute satire.... |

...and will be terrific....the wife is treating me to dinner and a movie next weekend. The whole concept is making fun of America as the "World Police". Yes, they gouge the Hollywood crowd...frankly I've always thought they do the left more harm than good.

Southpark was great, in 1998. It's still occasionally funny but I only ever watch by accident.

8. If I don't like puppets in the White House |

why would I like them on the screen?
This movie was a bad idea, played on the cheap.
At least they should have had Leslie Nielsen in there somewhere.
Is Lloyd Bridges still alive?

His sometimes-annoying politics aside, I think Trey Parker is a very funny comedy writer and voice actor. The baca-laca-daca street thing in the trailer made me really laugh.

I'm a fan of South park.
"South Park - Bigger, Longer, Uncut" was a masterpiece and ahead of it's time. When it came out in 1999, who would have predicted that in less than five years we woould have seen the outrage over Janet Jackson's boob, or the nation being led into war by lies.
Sadam as Satan's gay love interest was pretty F'n funny too!

12. I might end up going to see it |

I heard that it doesn't take many shots at the WH or the president though.
I'm curious if this is one of those 'Bush is doing everything he can to stop the terrorists but those damn liberals are trying to stop hi theme.
But I do enjoy SP and thought their Iraq War episode was sorta funny as well.
