Huge republican signs of past strangely absent.
I had to travel this weekend to an area I used to live. There were two places who always had the biggest repulican signs I've ever seen. One was a farm that had a fund raiser for Bob Dole, one is a heavy equipment yard that always had the sign on the hiway. This year they both had signs of local republicans but no B/C signs in site. I feel true republicans are not voting for these crazy people who stole their party. Just a small ray of hope.

7. The question seems to be are the ashamed of * or ashamed of themselves for
voting for him? I wonder. I think they will not vote for him but I'm biased.

8. Well, there are still plenty, and they are still pulling down and
vandalizing our Kerry/Edwards' signs around town, but the, um, "pride" seems to be waning a bit...especially after the first debate!

2. I went to visit my mom
yesterday. She still lives in the small town I grew up in. I went for a run and there were more Kerry/Edwards signs than smirky/crashcart signs. It was encouraging.

3. I traveled through eastern NC this week and noticed the same thing
I drove through lots of military base towns and looked for bush and anti-Kerry ads and stickers - didn't see very many at all!

Saw lots of "support our troops" ribbons on cars, but rarely saw a bush or anti-Kerry sticker to match.

I saw lots of big pickup trucks festooned with flags, ribbons, and military decals and not one sticker supporting the president.

4. I drove down to south jersey for the weekend and...........
on the parkway I only saw 2 bush stickers all weekend and quite a few Kerry stickers and signs and cape may county, which is republican, had only Kerry signs. One strange thing I noticed on the drive home were political signs in yards for republican candidates but no bush signs. Very wierd because the peolple with the signs could have goten bush signs from the same source if they wanted to.

5. Yep
last time around, especially in very rural areas, you saw these GIGANTIC bush cheney signs by the highways. I only see a few of those now. Very very few.

6. Here in Houston, too.
I've been making a point of looking for lawn signs and bumper stickers. In the past 2-3 weeks I've only seen 2 Shrub stickers, NO lawn signs, but only one other K/E sticker other than my own. Very strange as I remember seeing lots of Shrub stickers 4 years ago.

13. West Central Ohio
A lot of Repub signs up in yards for local races but in the same yard, no Bush/Cheney sign. So they've either ran out of B/C signs or they don't want to publicly support B/C. Also, my neighbor had a B/C sign out for 2 weeks and took it down last week after the Duelfer report came out so hopefully they've seen the light. I don't think it was stolen because I haven't heard of that being done yet in our town and there are a couple other B/C signs just down the street.

10. I think they are saving money on posters and spending it on
radio & TV ads. Here in Portland, ORegon the repugs are running anti-Kerry ads 24-7. Even though Oregon is sure to go dem, Kerry
is forced to spend on ads here to counter the repug lies, which is
better spent in battleground states.

12. We are talking about people who have enough money for both. Rich ranchers.
I am at least. Ads are from cable too. They are shown in most states.

17. According to what I've heard, strictly rumor, so take it for what it's wor
they are waiting until just before the election to limit vandalism, but you'll be seeing them.

In my area this week (Phoenix) we have started to see Kerry/Edwards 7x10 footers on busy streetcorners. Possibly the only election signs I've ever welcomed!

It gives me a warm fuzzy everytime I pass one.

18. Big sings in Iowa
They only get one vote no matter how big the sign is. Farmers are pro bush or seem to be. I drive down my street and there are 12 Kerry 0 shrub. There are some Kerry signs in yards that have other repug signs in them. Kerry in a landslide!
