My stepfather always votes. He became a citizen directly after WWII
and settled in Texas. One of his sons works for a Halliburton subsidiary, and let me tell you, this guy has voted GOP for a LONG LONG TIME.
Well, the debates changed that!
after 4 years of us beating on him, and his response was always "(you're telling me) lies, lies and propaganda"

well, he was reading Doonesberry today and laughed, and my mother
pointed out
that every word was true. AND when he read about how W lied about changes to Medicare he acted as if he never heard of it but he said if this is going to cost me -- I'm not voting for him.

THIS is a big deal!!!!
