2. It's a frame taken directly from the original
Fox cameraman's footage. See the original on cspan.org. Unless they also photoshopped the file footage.

Wow, I am really losing faith in Drudge. He has been so consistently right with his stories...Bwaaaahhaaaaahhaaaaaaahhaaa

Just peed my pants a little.

3. The video was also analyzed
and supposed it is apparent on multiple frames in the video.

Sorry, no photoshopping necessary for this one.

the Dick moving his puppets head?
I vote real. Or if the WH is to be believed Bush paid $3000 for a crappy suit. Maybe he should donate it to Goodwill.

6. No, it's not Photoshopped
I noticed this on a live CBS News feed as the debate happened but didn't really think much of it at the time.

I still have the debate on DVR... I went back and watched. Initially, I was skeptical; however, I found the rear views with the unmistakable "bulge"...

drudge can pound sand. This is not Photoshop.

14. If he were really going to have a wire,
Edited on Sun Oct-10-04 09:53 PM by Paul_H
why would they put it between his shoulder blades, knowing that every time he stretched his shoulders "just so" it would show in relief?

If they were going to wire him, I would expect it would be in the small of his back.

16. I agree with you but...
Whatever it is it seems to have them on the defensive. I said early on this makes us look silly like the freepers who accused Kerry of the pen thing.

But, this one has legs for some reason and whatever it is the Bush people don't want to divulge.

I KNOW it isn't an earpiece but it's got to be something they don't want to get out.

Bottom line is the story is damaging Bush, therefore it is good.

18. British Paper "The Independent" had an article about it and
AOL had it on it's front page with link to NYT's Article and the Salon Article which broke the news.

It does seem to have legs because the photos are NOT photoshopped but came from the Fox Feed from C-Span and networks.

It's a box on his back. Why would Bush wear a "box" on his back? Why doesn't he answer the question? Salon Mag. couldn't get them to give a believable answer so the quetions remain.

What is that thing on his back?

20. Remember, there wasn't supposed to be any rear-angle video
FOX camera crew screwed up with the shot -- at least that was the initial spin.

What I can't understand is why they'd wire him in the first place. He already has enough trouble telling his inner voices apart, that's just adding another confusing stimulus to his overtaxed cocaine-and-alcohol-fried brain.

25. I saw it Live too
I didn't think much about it then other than it must have been a bullet proof vest.

Now, I don't know what it is, since the WH said Smirk didn't have a vest on.

But something is bulging under his jacket. It is clear as day.

The WH, like in a thousand other circumstances, has some explaining to do.

The tailor story just ain't gonna cut it...no pun intended.

30. I don't think it's as pronounced as you make it out to be.
And maybe the story has "legs" because Rove wants Dems chasing down a story that has a perfectly logical explanation.

21. This guy just bulges all over. The sock in his flightsuit codpiece
was bulging out all over, sending big-haired right-wingers into fits of lustful ecstacy.

Now he's bulging out the back.

Maybe we'll soon see him ringing the bells in Notre Dame. Oops, guess not. It's in France.

It's not a wrinkle, a back brace or a transmitter. It's just his lil' wings!

22. The little piece that runs upwards & to the right from the rectangle
on Bush's back--an antennae or whatever--now that was a subtle photoshopping effort---NOT.

Drudge is an idiot and a liar and he's WRONG more times than he's right about anything. He is WRONG on this one.

23. It's part of a body armor harness.....
He's probably wearing a front ceramic plate over the normal kevlar. It's heavy, takes a little more substantial harness.

Now, why Bush feels he needs to wear armor, especially a ceramic plate, in a venue I'm sure is secured by the SS, is another question. It also explains why his campaign won't address the issue. Embarrassing.

If Drudge is starting to make up stuff to try to squelch this then you know it has to be catching on. That be such fitting poetic justice if some bullshit thing like this were to take the fucker down.

This has already been debunked by either Salon or NYT. There are numerous sources.. INCLUDING a news feed, which CANNOT be fixed. Scared much??

32. It isn't photoshopped. And unless this photo showing Bush's ear was
photoshopped -- the photo in the thread at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1030343 -- then it looks as though Bush was wearing a plastic device in his left ear at the National Prayer Breakfast last February, a device resembling some wireless earpieces that I've seen photos of. (Check the blowup of the photo in that thread, and a link I posted there to the cryptome.org page showing a similar earpiece.)
