Once AGAIN, Kerry has been offered FIVE HOURS OF FREE RADIO AIRTIME |
|
Last night, Art Bell was interviewing the Libertarian Candidate (Art is a declared Libertarian) and he offered ON THE AIR, that should EITHER Chimpy or Kerry agree to it, he would do (up to) a full FIVE HOUR show with them. Figure 1 to 2 hours of Art talking to Kerry and then Art opening the lines up for callers.
Before George Noorey did this, but having the big kahuna ART do it would be an incredible oppertunity. Art's Sat/Sunday Weekend shows have around 500 stations, 18-22 million listeners (not to mention being on XM, Sirius and live streaming on the net).
I think Art would be a fairer and better interviewer than George Noorey.
FOR KERIST'S SAKE, SOMEONE IN THE KERRY CAMPAIGN GO ON THIS!!!

1. If he promised to open up the govt files |

on Roswell, Area 51, etc. he'd pick up a lot of votes from Art's audience.
But you're right, he has a lot of listeners. Kerry's bright enough to skew his speech to the Libertarian mindset. They can't be too happy with the chimp's budget deficits, record on civil liberties, and geographic imperialism.

2. Art Bell would be at least as fair as Oh'Really |
|
and Kerry pretty much agreed to go on Oh'Really's show sometime soon, even said he enjoyed watching it. I dunno. Art Bell's rep does have some taint as being a conspiracy theorist, so it's possible both Kerry and bush campaigns will avoid it on that basis. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Sen. Kerry to show up on Howard Stern's show, either, just on the basis of reputation.
But you're right -- it would be an excellent way for Sen. Kerry to talk to a LOT of people who consider themselves independent voters. And Bell is probably the sort of host who would give Kerry an opportunity to talk in-depth about the BCCI investigation.
It's become quite clear that Democrats can't rely on mainstream newsmedia to give us a fair shake, and alternatives are available.

would love to get Kerry on. I'm sure AAR would too. They reach a lot of listeners! It would only take 15 minutes on the phone. I really don't know why Kerry doesn't take advantage of it. It would help them both out. Listening to the phone calls, there are people from the other side listening.
