Kerry's makeup was bad during the 2nd debate
Hey now. I realize he did a great job style and substance wise but if there was one small thing I could suggest is better makeup for Kerry!

I was shocked that his hair was dull and his face seemed tired. Probably because HE IS TIRED, but the first debate had Kerry looking damn good.

I hope for the 3rd debate they'll go back to sprucing him up. Really makes him more acessible to fickle undecideds.

Sorry but it had been bothering me.

2. Really? I thought he looked fine.
He had MUCH more make-up on during the first debate. Too much blusher, if you ask me.

4. Actually a little rumple goes over good with people.
Too much tan or too much makeup should be avoided though.

5. It bothers me that the election will be decided...
by people that will decide on who looks better...

7. It's a sad reality, this is the nation that kept Baywatch
on for a dozen seasons.

6. Huh? Al Gore really set the bar very high for this sort of criticism.
So long as nobody is orange, I don't notice the makeup.

8. Bush just looks so much like a simian that i don't think it matters much
as for Kerry, others had said he was tired when they saw him before the debate so i'm sure it was more that than just makeup.

9. I really believe it was the lighting
I think Rove's team must have done the lighting. If Kerry walked
over to Bush's side, he looked better and had that rosy, healthy
look. If they replay the debates, check it out. Bush's side of
the stage was better. Remember, Barbara Streisand always insisted
on doing her own lighting, even on the talk show route. It does
make a difference. All I know is Kerry looked fabulous the next
day at his rally which was in bright sunlight.

12. Exactly! He looked great at that rally
I wonder if it was the lighting, maybe the nerves kept him up and tired.

I'm looking forward to the next debate, but I hope the Kerry campaign realizes things like that can make a difference. I think starburst orange bush made him look even more crazy the first debate haha.

10. I thought shrubby looked hilariously pasty---not quite kabuki white, but
as light as a silent movie star. I think it was an anti-orange color (cuz he was so orange last time).

11. Interesting that you post this...
because about an hour ago, I decided that I am going to IGNORE this sort of dippy shit from here on out, and devote my thinking and efforts to important issues at hand.

No 'wired', and other stupid silly red herrings.

As for me, I am going to get over the gossip amd rumor and paranoia about "October suprises" and other childish shit and get busy.
