1. No-bid contracts for Halliburton.
*Undoing the post-Watergate era reforms on disclosure (Bush's executive order allowing release of presidential papers to be blocked as long as any president or his family objects)

*Giveaways to the pharmaceutical industry (bargaining power weakened in new Medicare law)

*General union-busting (Pick an area -- homeland security, etc.)

*Bush going on vacation for nearly a month after the August 6, 2001, Presidential Daily Brief entitled "Bin Laden determined to attack in the U.S."

*Objection to Department of Homeland Security, then reversing course and taking CREDIT for it (a Bush pattern), then underfunding it.

*One of the most damnable: Refusal to deal with rail security, due to rail companies' desire to avoid spending extra funds. The FBI has reportedly begged the administration to back rail and chemical security measures, as tankers are permitted to pass through D.C. and one attack on a chemical tanker could create a potentially lethal situation for millions of people, including most of the federal government.

Treasury Secretary Snow was CEO of CSX. Does that tell you anything?

*Lies on who would benefit from tax cuts.

*Determination to eliminate the estate tax, thus ensuring that labor is taxed at a higher rate than blood relationships or economically advantageous marriages. This also provides an incentive NOT to give to charity.

I could go on, but you see how depressing it all gets.
