About the 3rd Debate
I've been hearing stories this morning about how Bush has just started to be more aggressive in his stump speeches and he will keep this up in the 3rd debate. Here we are 3 days after the second debate and Kerry has taken a slight lead.I think Bush was to aggressive in the 2nd debate, yelling at damn near everyone and he wants to step it up even more!He seemed like a nut on Friday, what the hell will he pull on Wednesday?I think he is starting to get nervous.

1. He'll probably burst an artery
He looked like a wild man on Friday. Reminded me of Richard Nixon.

When you resort to personal attacks, it is because there is no record to stand on. Kerry should keep pounding away at Bush's failures.

2. We are watching
the shrub campaign slowly wither away. Its the same rhetoric every time he speaks. Shrub will not be able to defend his failed economic policies on Wed......he's riding a sinking ship...

3. He'll come to the debate Wednesday
With a baseball bat, a full body harnish and a 5 feet Samurai sword. And heaven help Kerry, the moderator, the audience and the TV camera people...

Unless of course Bush slips, whacks himself with the bat, stumbles over his armor and skewers himself with the sword. Which, from what we have seen of his competence, is not unlikely.

5. He's screwed no matter what.

KKKaren and KKKarl will take away his crack or his meth or whatever was making him twitch around the stage and rant like Captain Queeg, and instead will gork him out on 'ludes or Xanax, so he'll go back to leaning on the lectern with that vacant stare, looking like he's about to drool. They thought he was going to be better in the town-hall style format, and he was better only in the sense that he didn't vapor lock. But engaging in threat displays like a rogue elephant wasn'tmuch of an improvement, so they'll have to reduce his torque setting from deranged to vapid. He's doomed. Kerry is at his best in a formal debate setting, and he'll eat The Chimpinator's lunch. Again.

6. Maybe they will actually have to pull him off the moderator or
Kerry.
I thought he was going to attack Charlie Gibson last Friday. And he is one of them.

7. It's a shame this next debate is only on domestic issues
Because Bush really gets defensive when his Iraq policy is attacked. Less so on domestic issues.

8. I've seen clips of him on the stump, shouting:
"He can run, but he can't hide!" Almost gleefully.

Do people really react positively to this? It's a bit scary, IMO.

In contrast, clips of Kerry show him saying "They have eyes, but they will not see..." (I think that's the quote.)
