I didn't get to watch GMA this morning, I wondered if he had any comments or if felt threatened when the president wouldn't listen to him. I doubt he did since he is a repuke, but thought I would ask anyhow.

he talked about how strange it was to be in the middle of it and how he kept wondering if they were really even answering the questions, because it didn't seem like it from where he sat.
I thought the same thing most of the time, but more so when Bush spoke than when Kerry did.

but I think he did alot more to try to stop Bush's obnoxious interruptions and stampeding than did Lehrer ...

his late-term response was reasoned & reasonable, and bush basically said he didn't get it, and it was a manichean choice.
f-ing typical.
charlie was in a tight spot - you don't chastise the CIC during a war!

Yes I agree that Kerry did at least a fair job of answering his questions and shurbs as well. Case in point: the Mistakes question, Bush never really owned up to any mistakes, Kerry not only pointed out Bush's mistakes but admited to some of his own.
The Charlie in tight spot, I do not agree with. It was his debate to moderate, and if the President can't play by the rules and keep him self under control, then he deserves to be chastized. But the LIBERAL media will not chastize or critisize him for anything and they are using the WAR to justify it.
