Kerry Campaign : Make sure it's about Bush and not about John Kerry

It is easy to fall into the trap of defending yourself about the word "nuisance" or something else, but this election is about the job that George Bush has failed to do - not John Kerry's failure. Kerry must be careful not to let them put him on the defensive, where he is the candidate to be determined as able to do the job or not. Mr Bush has already proved he is a failure. We MUST talk about that.

The Bush campaign is quite good at diverting the attention away from their candidate. They would rather talk about John Kerry from 30 years ago than talk about invading a country under false pretenses and getting thousands killed in the process of that decision. They would rather talk about Kerry raising taxes than talk about the monstrous $8-trillion dollar turnaround by Bush in just 4 short years. We cannot let them change the subject from their failures.
