Sen Rick Santorum finds Teresa "icky"!
Dick Santorum (R-PA) and a few others are trying to make a "mole out of mountain" by attacking Teresa Heinz Kerry on using the word, "ick!"

Evidently, Kenneth Cole was interviewing Teresa for "Vanity Fair" and when asked how she would like being the "First Lady" Ms. Kerry said "Ick!" Santorum is trying to play the remark now as Teresa disrespecting the office (unelected) of the First Lady. What he isn't doing is telling folks what Teresa said immediately afterwards! Republicans love quoting "out-of-context".

"There will be a first man one of these days, a first gent, I hope. First Lady, I don't know. I always said having three sons, two male dogs, and my late husband, I was only the first lady at my house."

Rep. Deborah Price (R-Ohio) is also "offended" by Mrs. Kerry's remark and has released the following statement: "As Mrs. Bush visits my home state of Ohio, I am proud to have a first lady in office who has embraced leadership with class, backed her husband unconditionally with grace, and represents the values every woman can admire."

Ann McFeatters of the Pittsburg Post-Gazette/Toledo Blade states: "We Americans don't know what we want from our first ladies except that we want them to be attractive, but NOT too attractive; well- dressed, but NOT too well-dressed; articulate, but NOT outspoken; warm, but NOT too warm; assertive, but NOT too assertive; husband- supporting, but not doormats. Ick!"

3. Republicans are liars. Simple as that.
They lie about what people said, then they feign indignation -- all in an effort to attack someone's character.

Please, tell me more about the party of integrity.

11. That would explain why they hate her so much.
It's that 'hell hath no fury like a lover scorned' thing. Republicans always hate it when articulate people with lots of money turn out to be Democrats.

As a Pennsylvanian, we ain't gonna take this guy's BS anymore. Rick Santorum is officially GOIN' DOWN in 2006!

Effing Santorum is sitting in Teresa's first husband's seat, trashing her. Well, he can kiss my Keystone State ass! He will be defeated. Beginning Nov. 3, 2004, that's our new project, Pennsylvania Dems.

Bye bye to effing Santorum.

17. Quid Pro Quo, I'm sure
I know that I, personally, find Rick Santorum "icky." Mrs. Kerry seems like a pretty classy broad, I'm sure she does, too.

Rick Santorum is an Asshole of the First Order. Were I Mrs. Kerry, I wouldn't give a rat's ass WHAT he thought of me.

Shove it, pigboy!

19. Holy Shit Are They Desperate, or What????
Rick Santorum is SO PATHETIC -- his sentimental diatribes make me want to gouge my ear drums with a bamboo kabob stick. While Ed Gillespe gets the fastest-talking liar distinction in the GOP, Santorum, in my opinion, gets "the biggest whining liar" award. Have you ever listened to this asshole whine?

These people are a bunch of fucking Nazis. Pickles is an inbreed, and Price needs to get the microchip taken out of her brain.

THIS is why ABC wrote the supposed memo: "This election, you will see nothing more dishonest or pathetic than the attempts to smear John Kerry and his wife Theresa, because when the GOP has a failed war and failed policies from which they need to distract, they'll get dirty and mean and lie. Watch out for it."

EVEN if she said it, and meant it, and the quote wasn't taken out of context -- who are these people? Santorum and Price sound like whinny tattle-tale babies. Who would take this seriously. Again, I say: from the party that brought you "freedom toast."
