One family in Aiken County, South Carolina (a red county in a red state) had the Kerry-Edwards sign in their front yard mutilated.

Rather than replace the sign, the family left the remains of the sign lying on her front yard - and ADDED THE AMERICAN FLAG.



This sends a great message to those who oppose us. Democratic values are American values, and we will not be intimidated by those who try to silence us.

2. There should be a clearing house set up by the DNC to take

complaints...and map the results to see where and how rampant the problem is. I suspect that the battleground states are where the most vandalism is occurring.

And there is a very powerful point about these attacks....supressing Kerry's real popularity.

3. Here's a proactive revenge idea....

coat your sign with Karo syrup. Invisible. Sticky. Very Sticky. It will get all over the hands of anyone trying to steal sign, and will get allover the car of the thief too. Bonus: it also attract ants, so your thieves will get bugs in their car too!

4. We're doing something like that in South Carolina

People call in with complaints about yard sign vandalism. We highlight the most egregious ones and try to get free media as a result.

i'm in Spokane WA which seems as Redneck as Texas to Wyoming so why are there Kerry/Edwards lawn signs, car sticks, buttons EVERYWHERE? 90% Kerry 10% aWol. i even see "God Bless America" signs on the police and firehouses, which i believe is illegal but what one would assume is Redneck Repukelican and everyone here should be voting for aWol. people everywhere in this town are talking about and supporting Kerry. (i'm using a friend's pc and i can't make the pics smaller to show you all the houses with Kerry signs. we were just going to dinner and saw this 300 people plus anti-Bush march. it's really strange because this is a red neck hick town.)

it makes me wonder about the lying repuke media publishing lying polls. makes me wonder about repuke politicians all over america counting votes as they did/do in florida!

Met 4 seniors in a duck pond park. My dog is wearing a Kerry button and they commented they loved it. One woman said 'they' are tearing down the Kerry signs in Portland.

Met a union worker getting married in another park. He said the union is shipping they down to Las Vegas to work for Kerry. But he'd never heard of Air America Radio. (As my previous report of my union neighbor in San Jose, CA.) There is no excuse for this. Kerry campaign should immediately have all unions issue an emergency bulletin to have union members spread the word about Air America.

8. I would add another sign

that says..."SOME REPUBLICAN DID THIS." Call them on it. Tell the world.

11. They actually had a story

on our Dallas ABC affiliate this morning talking about the sign wars.

All of the ones they showed defaced and torn down were Kerry, but the guy they chose to interview about the goings on was the Collin County Republican chair. (!) Go figure. They're BELO. Fascist bastards.

They also mentioned that the Democrats had had to order several thousand signs to replace those damaged. The Republicans had to oreder 600. The numbers speak for themselves.
