Anyone Lost CNN?
I'm watching on Comcast in Chicago and in the middle of the interview with David Brock, the screen went not only blank, but looks like it's having major problems. I checked other cable channels and they're fine...including CNN Headline. Is someone having fun out there? Max Headroom, is that you???

4. Back Now...
But this was something strange...it appeared the satellite lost signal from CNNservative Central. Let's see if Myles Mindbender says anything.

Nope...you didn't see it, I didn't see it.

BTW...what's with the Coultergeist pic? I just had lunch :puke:

17. Any Bad Weather?
That's where CNNservative uplinks from...on Techwood Drive, I think...maybe atop their corporate fortress...

I get this image of Johnny from Airplane with that large plug in his hand...going "oops".

13. So I'm hearing they purposely cut the feed when Brock challenged
Sinclair?

Another thread implies this ... I wasn't watching ... what's the deal?

They'd better re-run this damned interview, or we need to unload on CNN!

16. That's exactly what happened
They were winding up the interview, Brock was starting to speak, and then the picture went haywire -- like someone tripped over a cord, or something -- WHOOPSIE!

Don't expect a rerun. Kinda hard to do when you run into "technical difficulties."

CNN needs a new schtick.

They're rebroadcasting an interview with Christopher Reeve strongly urging stem cell research. I hope his legacy will help.

21. DirecTV too
My satellite feed of CNN went out too. Then I got the screen that they were having technical difficulties. It's back on now. Sounds like a problem at CNN itself if cable systems and satellite feeds were affected.

22. I'm No Digital Techie, But...
I can tell when a signal goes out on the cable end locally or it's elsewhere.

This definitely looked like it was on the CNN end. I was seeing/hearing what appeared to be telemetry noises and attempts by the satellite to "call home".

Most telling is how the network was out for at least 5 minutes and nothing was said...not even Myles giving a blush and mentioning there had been a problem...when a geek like this one says nothing, you start to wonder if this was just happenstance.
