How many Manchurians has Edwards sent to West Point??? |
|
You have to be sent to West Point by your senator? How many Manchurian Americans has Edwards nominated for West Point? The fact that I don't know this answer is disturbing. It should be on Edwards website. That's it, I am now voting for Larouche.

2. In Four Trials there's a great story about how one of his clients was the |
|
estate of man an wife who died in a car accident. A trucker paid by the mile was driving all night got tired and ran into the family's car. The man's mother pursued the case. She ended up winning a great deal of money. Truck companies changed their policies. I think the Republican state legislature ended up passing legislation protecting truck companies from these suits (I might be combining two different chapters in the book).
Anyway, years later, the son of the man killed in that accident applied to West Point and Edwards made the recommendation for him
So, I don't know about Manchurians, but he sent one very well-provided for orphan and victim of the profit motive of large corporations to West Point.

4. I don't think the poster was serious... |

Other than to point out the number of inane threads started by Dean supporters after being questioned about Dean's past. Although I've come to the conclusion that Dean's past started in 2002.

6. Any chance, should Edwards not be the nominee, that he'll run for |
|
re-election in 2004? There is a serious need to win back as many Senate seats as possible.

13. Because of insurance companies, EMT's no longer give ANY medication |
|
to injured people who call for an ambulance in Alabama. There were some lawsuits, evidently, about EMT's giving the wrong meds so the insurance companies pressured the legislature to make it illegal for EMT's to give any treatment beyond first aid -- NO medication.
:wtf:
I found this out when I was injured while visiting in Alabama. An ambulance is like a very expensive taxi there. You do get to be on a gurney and they may splint you if needed but that's it.
:wtf:
What a fun trip that thirty-mile ambulance ride was for me, in pain and given no pain meds! They finally gave me morphine about two hours after I got to the ER. (Maybe they'd have done it sooner if I'd screamed but I was grateful to at least be out of the ambulance.)
And this was done to save insurance companies money -- and screw the sick and injured citizens!
