Libertarian and Green candidates arrested?
Here's a snip I got from a friend via email this morning-

"The Libertarian and Green Party candidates for president of the US were arrested outside of the venue as they were trying to enter to serve papers on the Commission for the Presidential Debates in a lawsuit they have filed against the upcoming Arizona debate which is being held at a university campus there. "

I just want to post this and see if it's actually old news, and if anyone has a link. I find it very very disturbing. Right now, I feel that Bush or Kerry, we are still in deeper trouble than we think. I mean, Democracy is dead.

Sorry if this isn't a well thought out, coherent post. It's just food for thought.

1. I heard that too

Why not let all 4 of them debate?

I bet quite a few repubs would vote libertarian if they had a chance to hear the rhetoric.

From Libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik's site:

I hope Badnarik does well in the election. Libertarian success this year will make the GOP's blood boil. Besides, Badnarik does have some good ideas.

Still voting for Kerry, though. ;)

3. Thanks. You know what my honest opinion is of this?
Had these guys been able to debate with the two candidates from the main "monster" parties, I feel Bush would be way more toasted than he is now. I too am voting for Kerry. But I love what these other parties are saying. Kind of like how I feel about Kucinich. But this election is unique in that we cannot affort to lose. That in itself is a very dangerous thing. Democracy dies when choice is lost, whether self-inflicted or not.

I don't know much about the other candidates. It's enough to just try and follow Bush's money and scandal trail. But I know one thing- I'm not voting Dem next time. Damn America. Dems are also tied to the corporations. I don't know. It's much bigger than politics. It really is the people. We are the ones driving everything. Not a few hundred politicians. Although Bush is a special case.
